LOL IN THE PARK LIVE COMEDY SHOW & FAMILY FUN DAY
HEADS TO JOYNER PARK AMPHITHEATER
FEATURING COMEDIANS GRIFF, AKINTUNDE, CHINNITTA “CHOCOLATE” MORRIS & SMALL FIRE
JULY 23, 2022 / WAKE FOREST NC - Christian Faith Assembly Community Church (CFACC) in partnership with AEM Hi Solutions presents LOL In The Park an interactive family fun day of live stand up (clean) comedy, music, food, vendors and old school games in an outdoor setting. This live event heads to the Joyner Park Amphitheater 703 Harris Rd, Wake Forest, North Carolina on Sunday September 25, 2022. Activities will begin at 1:00 pm with laughter beginning at 4:00 pm featuring international headlining comedians, Griff (Get Up Morning Show, BET, Comedy Central), Dove Comedy Award winner, Akintunde (The Akintunde Show, BET, TBS), Chinnitta Morris a.k.a. Chocolate (Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Comic View), and Small Fire (BET, Def Comedy Jam, Gospel Comedy Live). “This is a chance to go out, grab some food, meet some new people, hear some great music, and most importantly, use laughter to provide the medicine we all need,” says event organizer and producer Angela Milton. This event will also feature live music, inspirational spoken word, great food, select small business vendors, and on the spot casting auditions (chosen by audience applause) for the upcoming Hit Musical, The History of Gospel Music. The comedy show will be preceded by a day of family fun and classic “old school” interactive games featuring many of the throwback games made popular in the neighborhoods of yesteryear. “I want to see some of the games I grew up playing back in my neighborhood like Four Corners and Red-Light Green Light,” adds comedian Akintunde.
Pastor Charles, CFACC’s Founder, sees this event as an opportunity to get out of the house following Covid-19. “Covid has left a mark on society that will never be removed. Creating an event where the 5 ships come to port is our goal:

? Friend-ship and
? Food-ship
We love our community, and we love seeing people enjoying this thing called life. Showcasing local talent along with the national comedians just elevates the enjoyment of the event,” says Pastor Charles.
